Published on May 18, 2020 by

Starting today, and for the next eight weeks,… all incoming draftees in the South Korean military will be screened for the coronavirus whether they have symptoms or not.
Seoul’s defense ministry said the measure is aimed at preventing cluster infections.
On the first day,… they’ve tested some 38-hundred draftees.
As of Monday morning… the military had reported no new cases of the virus for the third day in a row.
There are still 12 people getting treatment for it, all of them linked to the cluster infection from nightclubs in the Seoul neighborhood of Itaewon.
39 in the military have recovered.
