With the future of the Premier League on tap, ESPN FC’s Julien Laurens joins Dan Thomas to react to “Project Big Picture.” The plan, proposed by the EFL and its chairman, Rick Parry, includes reducing the Premier League to 18 teams, giving controlling power to the nine clubs who have been in the league the longest, and abolishing the League Cup and the Community Shield. Laurens thinks it’s “very unlikely” that the rest of the league would allow the top 6 clubs to have the majority of the power in the league. Laurens also addresses Liverpool and Manchester United’s reported support for the plan.
