After a week when Hong Kong saw a drop in the number of new coronavirus cases,anti-government protests again returned to the city after months of calm.About 300 protesters gathered inside the Cityplaza shopping centre in Taikoo Shing, near Quarry Bay in eastern Hong Kong Island on April 26, 2020.The group called for the release of 15 prominent pro-democracy activists who were arrested last week for alleged participation in unauthorised protests in 2019.Riot police entered the shopping centre to disperse the crowd, citing a government ban on public gatherings of more than four people.
