Barcelona don’t need Miralem Pjanić-Arthur swap when they have Riqui Puig

Published on June 24, 2020 by

After Barcelona’s 1-0 win vs. Athletic Bilbao, Alejandro Moreno, Frank Leboeuf and Julien Laurens join Dan Thomas on ESPN FC to react to the rumours Barcelona want to sell Arthur Melo to Juventus in order to get Miralem Pjanić from the Serie A side. Laurens doesn’t see what value Pjanić would bring to the Nou Camp that they don’t already have from players like Arturo Vidal and Sergio Busquets. Moreno and Leboeuf earmark 20-year-old Riqui Puig as a better up-and-coming option already in Quique Setién’s side.
