Hong Kong airport chaos: Protesters tie up, interrogate man accused of being undercover police

Protesters at the paralyzed international Hong Kong airport on Tuesday evening tied up and interrogated a man they believed to be an undercover police, detaining him until medics dispersed the crowd to tend to his injuries from the ordeal, carrying him out on a stretcher.

The man was tied to a baggage trolley and surrounded by both media and protesters while protesters went through his bag searching for ID to ‘prove’ his identity.

This occurred the night where pro-democracy protests occupied the airports’ terminals for a fifth consecutive day causing flights to be cancelled for a second day.
